I’ve already seen it twice now, so I feel like I’m ready to write my review. Be aware: THERE BE SPOILERS HERE. And I highly recommend going in to see this as unspoiled as you can be.

The big news broke in Entertainment Weekly last Tuesday, and I’ve been babbling about it on Twitter, but just in case you missed it …
I GOT TO WRITE A STAR WARS NOVEL!!!
First of all — SORCERESS, the third book in the SPELLCASTER trilogy, is coming out tomorrow! Can you believe it? Find out how Nadia, Mateo and Verlaine manage to defeat the forces of evil … and exactly which side Asa ultimately decides to be on.
Second, if you want a signed copy of SORCERESS, or A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU, or any of my other books, you might want to join me and a few other fabulous authors on the “Girls Gone Sci-Fi” tour, starting March 16? Want to learn more? Read on …
Yes, TEN THOUSAND SKIES ABOVE YOU is the second book of the Firebird trilogy, coming to you November 3 of this year. And if you thought there was no way this cover could be as lovely as the one for A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU? Well, I did too — and we were wrong. We were so gloriously wrong.
Congratulations go first to the winners of the Epic Reads ARC contest – way to go Victoria (who got NO PARKING AT THE END TIMES by Bryan Bliss), Schu (who nabbed PLAYLIST FOR THE DEAD by Michelle Falkoff), Holly (now owner of a copy of THE PREY by Tom Isbell), and Alex (triumphant owner of RED QUEEN by Victoria Aveyard)! My apologies for that contest going on a full week longer than scheduled; I was felled by a death virus, and for days incapable of doing anything by lying around in a daze, marathoning “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” But now, dear friends, I am up again, and do I have news for you —
As Obi-Wan Kenobi might say, These are the books you’re looking for. The fabulous ladies at Epic Reads have hooked me up with some of the most hotly desired ARCs around, which means now I can hook you up …
First of all, a great big congrats to the two winners of the WINTERSPELL giveaway: Grand Prize winner Wendy W. and First Runner Up Ashton W.! They will bask in glory and in their winnings, which of course includes Claire Legrand’s wonderful book. (And yeah, I know it’s after Christmas, but to judge by the temperatures outside, we have plenty of atmospheric winter left, so a good book to snuggle up with should come in handy.) Secondly, remember how I promised to write some follow-up ficlets to A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU? Well …
So, if you’re like me, you began this holiday shopping season with good intentions. You knew who you’d buy for, what you’d get them, and even picked up the first few things … and now OMG WTF it’s ten days to Christmas??!?!?!?? ALSO if you’re like me, you have not been able to wait to get your paws on one of the hottest books out right now, WINTERSPELL by Claire Legrand, a retelling of the Nutcracker story featuring fairies who are anything but sugar-plum sweet. Well, I can solve both those problems for you! How, you ask?
First and foremost, if you haven’t read A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU yet, read no further into this post! Everything after the jump may be spoilery as all get out. However, if you have read ATPOY already …
I’m just back from my incredible tour in the Philippines — seriously, huge thanks to everyone who welcomed me and Madeleine Roux, because that was tremendous. And now that I’ve returned, it’s time to look at some of the amazing stuff going on as we lead up to the Nov. 4 release of A THOUSAND PIECES OF YOU!
